The Marmalade hotel is a petite 11 bedroom establishment that sits with a prominent view over Portree. The Georgian building has a mix of rooms with high ceilings and plenty of quirky coves and coombes. The novel nature of the building has been emphasised by the design which has a contemporary palette based on a traditional style. Our use of earthy and warm materials and colours evoke an inviting feeling of comfort and relaxation for the guests.
The design of the public areas promote an alluring, restful atmosphere for the guests. A warm and natural palette of materials has been used alongside elements of contemporary glamour to entice a wide range of travellers.
