The Marmalade hotel is a petite 11 bedroom hotel which sits with a prominent view over Portree. The Georgian building has a mix of rooms with high ceilings and plenty of quirky coves and coombes. The novel nature of the building has been emphasised by the design which has a contemporary palette based on a traditional style. Using materials and colours that are earthy and warm gives the guests a feeling of comfort and relaxation.
The public areas have been designed to be inviting to promote a restful atmosphere for the guests. A warm and natural palette of materials has been used along side elements of contemporary glamour to entice a wide range of travellers.
