Hampton by Hilton

Norwich Airport

Situated less than 500m from the terminal building and overlooking the runway, the new Hampton by Hilton hotel gives a nod to the aviation industry and the surrounding aircraft hangars which have been a part of Norwich International Airport since its days as an RAF bomber station in the 1940s.

The 125 bedroom hotel is clad in sleek, dark, anodised aluminium in a sinusoidal profile, sitting on top of a grey brick plinth at ground floor, where lounge and bar areas provide guests with comfortable and informal break out opportunities, in addition to meeting facilities.

The adjacent site houses a newly redeveloped International Aviation Academy training facility which will draw visitors to the site. The hotel aims to complement the development both in terms of use and design, echoing a simple but contemporary aesthetic and contributing to a high quality shared landscape between the two developments. A number of mature trees have been retained on the site, enhanced by new feature planting.

This development will bring the renowned Hilton brand to East Anglia.
